MUSic video
Synopsis: - Shooting Star - Richard in youir mind
An Indie music video on the aftermath of a crazy party from the night before. The video starts in the morning with the golden sun pouring in on all these passed out people on the ground who all over each other. The music video tells the story of the night before, drugs/m&ms alcohol random party shit everywhere, the camera is a one-shot which from a birds-eye perspective slowly moves through the crowd of people on the ground. Telling that visual story from above.
The music video starts as the camera pans into a hand lying on the floor slowly moving forwards revealing a story from the people who are passed out on the ground, each character telling a different story just by lying there on each other. There are 2 aspects to this story the one shot which the camera will follow a pre-directed path of people throughout the song, 2 a random guy trying to find something hidden throughout the people. So yes I want a one-shot but the film could and could not be the one shot entirely, starting of with the one shot through the people until we come across our main character, he wakes up and now we follow him through his journey to find his missing object, he encounters some small battles with half awaken passed out people until at the end he finds his missing object which never gets revealed.
I imagine the last shot is of his face finding it with a massive smile grin, then cut to black.
I want to use the beat at the start of the song to set up the setting and main characters. Like in the example video below, I want to use the beat to cut to different frames of props and characters. Eg a guy passed out hugging a watermelon, shot of a clock revealing the time, massive bowl of cereal with a shoe inside etc...
If the one shot is too tricky to pull off I will use cross cuts of close-ups to break up the one shot.
